This has been working great so far minus a few issues that we've had. First, we like the induction versus the standard electric. Neat technology. What we didn't like was an issue we had with the front right burner - if things are perfectly center on it like they should be, it doesn't work right. You have to move it towards the front, off-center, for it to cook with full power. That's a defect. We traded out ranges from Lowe's and the next unit had the same issue but that's where we discovered the workaround. That's just about 1.5 stars off because that's a major design flaw. You have four cooking spaces... getting those right is important, and this is the biggest one. Also, the drawer on the bottom is not quality and did not meet my expectations...makes noise and is not smooth when pulling out (minus .5 star). Even though this is a good value for this type of range, these issues combined with me not being impressed with the buttons on the top of the range (though it was touch glass like a phone but it's not). Overall, I'm happy with the range given the price I paid, but I can't rate it higher than what it is.

I love the boost mode for boiling eggs, I think the water starts to boil at about 1 minute and by 5 minutes I have to turn it down so the water does not boil out of the pot. Look much better then our old bisque range with the dark granite counters

This is not a good stove for several reasons. I purchased this stove for my northern house and I like it fairly well. It has knobs to turn the burners on; one flick of the wrist and it is set. This newer stove for our Florida house has touch controls. They really arenÕt touch; you have to push quite hard. First you push to turn the burner on, then each subsequent push ( on a different spot) to get to the temperature you want. Really? Not good for long fingernails, arthritic fingers or efficiency. I like the induction cooking. The heat is fast and immediate on the burners but not even on this newer stove. The back of a burner is hotter. It takes a long time to preheat the oven. The oven heats unevenly and is hotter toward the back. Both my older model and this newer one smoke like mad when roasting meat or poultry, to the extent that the meat can taste like burned smoke. The bottom drawer is very thin metal and rests on the floor when pulled out. For the price it is overall very poor quality! Asked if I would recommend this to a friend, I wouldnÕt recommend it to an enemy

We initially planned to buy a gas stove, but started considering induction ranges on the recommendations of friends. Frigidaire offered the best value among the induction ranges we looked at, and we were able to buy a new stove, stainless steel cook set and warranty for less than the cost of comparable gas ranges (including the cost of adding a gas line). We are very pleased with our induction range, which has all of the advantages of ga with none of the drawbacks.
